The Community fishing team "East Texas Thunder" won the Deep East Texas fifth qualifier of the season on January 28th at Jackson Hill Marina. Zane Parker and Collin Foley along with 83 other teams were given the Cold Shoulder by Mother Nature. This was the toughest day of fishing ever said Nellie Miller Tournament Weigh master. The recent cold front and double digit winds had our student anglers scratching their heads trying to figure out how to get a bite.
